As a result of his refusal to sit next to another passenger who was wearing a mask, "Yellowstone" singer Forrie J. Smith took to Instagram on Saturday to express his dissatisfaction with the fact that he was "kicked off" a flight and left stranded in Houston.
"I just got kicked off of a plane," Smith stated on the plane. "Because I told them I didn't feel comfortable sitting next to somebody with a mask on."
The last three hours have been spent with me sitting in an airport. "Yeah, I'm drinking," continued Smith, who continues to play the role of Lloyd Pierce on the popular Western series.
Even though I'm not intoxicated, they throw me off the plane because they think I'm drunk. They do this because you people won't speak up and tell everyone what a complete and utter sham this is.
Last but not least, Smith stated, "I just told them I didn't feel comfortable about sitting next to somebody that had to wear a mask, and I'm off the plane," before the video came to a conclusion.
People asked Smith why he was concerned about the fact that another person was wearing a mask in the comments section. In many cases, it was indicated that masking would be acceptable for the purpose of safeguarding their health as well as the health of others.
Uncertainty exists regarding the airline that Smith was traveling on. The request for comment that was made to his representative was not immediately met with a response. Previously, Smith has been very vocal about the opinions he holds toward public health. It was because of the restrictions for the Covid vaccine that he did not attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2022.
In a video that has since been removed from Instagram, Smith stated, "I have not been vaccinated, and I will not get vaccinated." I am of the opinion that they have compromised your immunity... Please don't take offense to anyone. I simply have these beliefs. Simply put, I don't have faith in the other things.
