Which purpose does American grits with crab Rangoon serve?

My recent knowledge update in January 2022 showed that "American grits with Crab Rangoon" is not a common American food.

If this combination has become popular as a meal, it may serve numerous culinary and sensory experiences:

Jambalaya has powerful and spicy flavors. Sausage, poultry, and shellfish are usually mixed with aromatic vegetables such bell peppers, onions, and celery. The recipe tastes spicy due to cayenne pepper, thyme, and bay leaves.

The combination may reflect culinary fusion, combining ingredients from different cuisines. Southern-style grits and Asian-inspired crabrangoon make a unique flavor and textural combination.

Creative & Innovative: Chefs and home cooks experiment with ingredients to produce new recipes. Grits with Crab Rangoon can display culinary creativity.

Grits' creamy texture may contrast with Crab Rangoon's crispy and savory flavor. This mix may include a variety of textures and flavors.

Regional Influence: The meal may combine Southern and Asian flavors.

Personal Tastes: Combining the earthy, soothing taste of grits with the seafood flavors and crunchiness of Crab Rangoon may create a unique taste. Importantly, culinary trends change and such combinations may be popular or unpopular. If this dish is popular, it shows culinary diversity and experimentation.
