Tofu and Edamame Salad with Wasabi Dressing—A Pan-Fried Delight!

A tofu and edamame salad with wasabi dressing is not only delicious but also nutritious. Here's a simple recipe to create this flavorful dish:

Ingredients: For the salad: – 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed – 1 cup shelled edamame bean – 4 cups mixed salad greens (such as spinach, arugula, and kale)

– 1 cucumber, thinly sliced – 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced – 1 carrot, shredded – 1/4 cup sliced green onion – Sesame seeds for garnish

Prepare the tofu: – Cut the pressed tofu into cubes or slices. – Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. – Pan-fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes per side. Set aside to cool.

Prepare the dressing: – In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey or maple syrup, wasabi paste, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

 Assemble the salad:In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, sliced cucumber, sliced bell pepper, shredded carrot, and sliced green onions. Add the cooked edamame beans and pan-fried tofu to the bowl. .Toss with dressing:Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently until everything is well coated.
