Taylor Swift donates $100,000 to the Chiefs parade shooting victim's family.

Kansas City, Missouri — After the tragic shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl championship parade, Taylor Swift contributed $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan.

On Friday, the singer's name was added to a GoFundMe page, which received two $50,000 contributions. Variety claimed that Swift's representative confirmed the donations, and The Associated Press independently validated the posts.

My heartfelt sympathy go out to you during this difficult time. All my love, Taylor Swift," were the captions that accompanied the posts.

While celebrating the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory at the city's Union Station with her husband, young adult son, and hundreds of thousands of other fans, 43-year-old Lopez-Galvan was shot Wednesday. The local radio station KKFI-FM featured Lopez-Galvan hosting "Taste of Tejano" under the name Lisa G. The Latina mother of two was a long-time Kansas City resident and one of the city's rare Latina DJs.

For countless others, she was an incredible friend, aunt, cousin, sister, wife, and mother. In this time of great sorrow, we beg you to remember her family in your prayers, as stated in the GoFundMe page. As of Friday morning, the charity had raised more than $200,000.

The gunshot wounded twenty-two people, with half of them being under the age of sixteen. A disagreement may have precipitated the shooting, according to investigators, who are still attempting to determine responsibility. Two minors are already in police custody, and they are currently investigating the possibility of additional involvement.

Although she was there at Sunday's Super Bowl, Swift skipped Wednesday's procession because she is seeing Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. As a part of her Eras tour, she is now playing a string of concerts in Melbourne, Australia.

After the incident, the Chiefs announced that all players, coaches, staff, and their families were safe.
