Lemon and garlic are included in this recipe for baked cod.

Baked cod with lemon and garlic is a classic and flavorful dish that's easy to prepare. Here's a simple recipe:

Ingredients: – 4 cod fillets (about 6 ounces each) – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 lemon, thinly sliced – 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice – 1 teaspoon lemon zest – Salt and pepper, to taste – Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray. 2. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish. Season both sides of the fish with salt and pepper.

3.  In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. 4. Drizzle the lemon-garlic mixture over the cod fillets, making sure to coat them evenly. 5. Arrange the lemon slices on top of the cod fillets.

6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. 7. Remove the foil and switch the oven to broil. Broil the fish for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the lemon slices are lightly caramelized.

8. Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the cod rest for a few minutes before serving. 9. Garnish the baked cod with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and added flavor.

Serve the baked cod hot, accompanied by your favorite side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or roasted potatoes.

Enjoy your delicious baked cod with lemon and garlic! This dish is light, flavorful, and perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal.
