Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez split.

L.A — A divorce has been finalized between Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez. Six months after the pop diva, who is thirty years old, filed a petition to divorce the real estate broker, who is twenty-eight years old, a ruling from the Los Angeles Superior Court that dissolved their marriage of nearly three years became effective on Tuesday.

According to the documents filed in court, the couple has been divorced for more than a year. They were able to proceed through the court system in a swift and uncomplicated manner since they had a pre-nuptial agreement, they did not have any children, and they did not have any serious legal disagreements during the divorce.

The terms of their settlement were agreed upon in October, and all that was required of them was to wait the required six months before a judge's order could go into effect.

A one-time payment of $1,250,000 will be made by Grande to Gomez, and there will be no more alimony payments in the future. Additionally, Grande will give Gomez fifty percent of the earnings from the sale of their property in Los Angeles, and she will pay up to twenty-five thousand dollars toward legal bills.

The petition submitted by Grande cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for the divorce, which is the case in the great majority of divorces filed in the state of California.

Beginning their relationship in January of 2020, the pair confined themselves together during the pandemic. In May of that year, they made an appearance together in the music video for the charity single "Stuck With U" by Justin Bieber. In December of that same year, they made the announcement that they were engaged.

On May 15, 2021, Grande and Gomez decided to get married in a small, intimate ceremony that took place at her residence in Montecito, California.

On March 8, Grande, a singer and actor who was born in Florida, released her seventh studio album, which was titled "eternal sunshine." In the film adaptation of the Broadway musical "Wicked," which is slated to be released in November, she is playing the role of Glinda, the good witch, alongside Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba.
